Beyond LAMP2: Continuing the Reform
• Programs initiated under Project conditions (enabling environment, innovations in practice, institutional development and capacity building) need to be continued and mainstreamed
•Land Management Bureau (LMB) to take on this task given its mandate to pursue development and adoption of LAM-related policies, systems and standards, including new technologies and
innovations
The LMB Mission
•Provide direction through the development of long/medium term strategic plans for the sector and
the monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure achievement of goals.
•Provide policies for the efficient and effective administration and management of alienable and
disposable public lands and ensure compliance to the same.
•Establish survey standards and guidelines and ensure compliance to the same by all sectors.
